A working meeting was held under the leadership of Vardan Kostanyan, the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, with the participation of Levon Hovhannisyan, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan. The meeting was also attended by Kamo Areyan, the Adviser to the Mayor of Yerevan; Aneta Babayan, the Head of the Yerevan Construction Investment Project Implementation Unit; Karen Sedrakyan, the Chairman of the Water Committee; David Mkrtchyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Water Committee; Marianna Shahinyan, the General Director of Veolia Djur CJSC; and Narine Avetyan, the Head of the Department for Territorial (Capital) Programmes Support and Solid Waste Management of the Ministry.

The discussions focused specifically on improving the quality of drinking water, water supply and sanitation services in Yerevan. The parties addressed the issues related to water supply interruptions, as well as the modernisation of sewerage and stormwater drainage systems.
