New Secretary General Appointed for Water Committee

The Chairman of the Water Committee Aramazd Ghalamkaryan convened the first working meeting of the year, during which he officially introduced the newly appointed Secretary General, Arsen Manukyan, to the Committee staff.
Chairman Mr. Ghalamkaryan expressed his gratitude to Ruzan Harutyunyan for her dedicated service as Acting Secretary General over the past five months. Welcoming the new appointee, the Chairman expressed his confidence in a successful and productive collaboration.
Arsen Manukyan underscored the strategic importance of the Water Committee to the country's infrastructure and development. He affirmed his readiness to leverage his expertise and professional background to ensure the effective management and continuous modernization of the water system.
The meeting also served as a platform to discuss the Water Committee’s four primary semi-annual priorities for 2026. Following the overview, heads of various subdivisions presented their respective action plans for the coming months.
Concluding the session, the Chairman emphasized that in the current year, it is imperative for the team to operate with redoubled effort and commitment to achieve the sector's ambitious targets.
