Chairman of the Water Committee Aramazd Ghalamkaryan conducted a working visit to the Ararat region.
The Chairman began his tour at the Vedi Reservoir site, where he conducted a comprehensive review of the completed construction phases and addressed several technical issues essential for the reservoir’s operation.

During the visit, Chairman Ghalamkaryan also evaluated ongoing and prospective programs designed to modernize the region’s irrigation networks. A key stop included the Ararat Water User Association (WUA). In a meeting with Director Nishan Hakobyan, the Chairman discussed seasonal preparations, the integration of alternative energy sources the systematic modernization of local infrastructure, and several proposals were put forward.

The working day concluded with a site inspection of the Arazap-1, Armash, and Surenavan horizontal pumping stations. The Chairman also visited several intensive orchards and daily regulation reservoirs (DRRs) in the area.
